The client had a lot of difficulties going through individuation and still thinks that has not completely learned to do so, it has gotten better if compared form her past experience, separating one’s self not because you don’t like your family but only to build your own self as an individual is difficult, sometimes it feels like you are betraying them and that you don’t care about them but the difference of learning that even if you find your own separate identity while just keeping your family separate from your personal being is not being careless to them but being careful for yourself, is what needs to be learned.
